10% of proceeds from ALL Wailani Nail Polishes Now Go To Rescue + Freedom Project!!!

10% of proceeds from ALL Wailani Nail Polishes Now Go To Rescue + Freedom Project!!!

This incredible nonprofit organization is dedicated to rescuing animals from laboratory experiments and horrible abuse around the world.

In September I received a Facebook message from a friend with a video of beagles touching grass for the first time.  Before the video even finished I had already picked up the phone to call the organization, declaring "I have to get involved!"  Shortly thereafter, I got a call from Shannon Keith, the President & Founder of Rescue Freedom Project (R+FP), and our collaboration began.

Since Wailani Jewelry & Beauty makes only vegan, cruelty-free nail polish and jewelry, we started by creating a special nail polish color that would benefit the organization.  We decided on a beautiful, bold purple color which Shannon named 'Freedom' "as a reminder that we are always striving to free animals from abuse, and that we will never give up until we rescue all we can."

Volunteering at R+FP

The more I got involved with R+FP, the more committed I became to their mission of freeing animals from laboratory experiments, shelters, & from horrific abuse around the world (like the meat trade in China).  This picture was taken just after a rescued beagle touched grass for the first time after living his whole life in a crate, tortured daily with laboratory experiments.  Free to walk around, see sunlight and smell fresh air for the first time, he was happy and curious, but also wobbly.  He had never been given the chance to walk before.  The emotion I've felt at moments like these, being with rescued dogs, bunnies, goats, etc. is hard to put into words.  There is such joy, but there is also sadness for the others who don't have freedom.

I thank you for your love over the years and thank you for supporting vegan, cruelty-free products!  Don't forget to follow us on social media, and please continue to tell your friends!

For the Love of Animals,
